Divine Magic
What is it, and how can I make it work in my life?

When I first started doing readings many years ago I found that some of the people coming to me had a way of making things happen in their life merely by thinking about it.  Still, others were stuck on “the what they didn’t have, and more focused on what they were lacking”.

I noticed that with the people who often got what they wanted just by thinking about it, that there was something going on under the surface that was Magical which made them different.  The entire subject of Magic and manifesting was fascinating to me and caused me to do years of research on the topic of Magic.  That really is what it seemed like to me; that these people who were able to manifest whatever they wanted...  knew Magic.

Many of us have heard of the movie The Secret, which talks about the Law of Attraction, with plenty of documented studies on daily affirmations and how  with dedicated focus,  we can bring  into  our lives what we are wanting.  However, there still seemed to be more to this than just focusing on what we wanted and not on what we didn’t want.  

In 1997, I went on a trip to Sedona, Arizona to learn a technique called, “The Sedona Method” created by Lester Levenson.  It was all about releasing, and  letting go of the resistance to whatever it is we don’t want, release on it, then we shall have what we DO want.  It’s a great technique that I highly recommend, but even that only worked for a little while until I became bored with it.  

Still though, there were these people I noticed in life that seemed to possess a Magic about them.  Again....I researched more about the hermetic principals, sacred geometry, healing techniques, etc...  

Until one day in meditation, my Spirit guides were pointing to me.  I wondered, “What did I do?  Why are you pointing at me?”  Through this amazing meditation, I was brought inside what looked like a genie bottle from the show, I Dream of Genie, with Barbara Eden.  For those of you who are old enough to remember, Genie lived in a magic bottle with a circular sofa and all that she needed inside of this bottle.  When her master wanted her,  she’d manifest into smoke, come out of the bottle and materialize into real life.  Anyway, while I was in this meditation inside the genie bottle, I was told by a female genie that “I was the Magic.”  Before I could get too carried away with myself, that I am the Magic and all, she told me , “so is everyone else.”  “Everyone is the Magic too” she said.  

 This was a great reminder to me of another time that I was in deep meditation.  I could hardly believe it at the time, but looking back now, I do.   Christ came to me and handed me a gift.  It was a pretty box with ribbon on it and he asked me to open it.  When I did, inside was a pair of ballerina shoes that I was asked to put on.  Then Jesus asked me to dance and he twirled me around the room in my new ballerina shoes.  The feeling was beyond euphoric.  I had never experienced that kind of Love and Peace ever.  All I could remember at the time was this overwhelming feeling that I wanted everyone to experience what this felt like.  I said to Jesus, “I want this for everyone.  I want every human being to have this dance with you.”  He looked at me, pointing his finger right at me and said, “Now ya got it sister, now ya got it!”  I’ll never ever forget that meditation, and I’ll never forget that dance.

What is my point with all of this?  It seems I’ve been searching for what’s right under my nose.  Those people who had a magic in their step, who could attract things more easily in their life, knew at some level that they were the Magic, and because they knew without question that they were the Magic, they could create whatever their little hearts desired.  

While studying to become a magic herbalist, and working with Mother Nature, the Goddess, or whatever description you’d prefer,  I found that ordinary people, places and things seemed to light up with a Magic.  All that comes from the great void and manifests here IS the Magic.  It’s been waiting for all of us to wake up out of this deep trance we’ve been locked into for lifetimes.  When we look at a telephone, or a flower, or an item on our desk and we don’t give a name to it...we simply observe it through fresh eyes, what do we see?  It’s beautiful whatever it is.  If we don’t put a name or label on it, what is it?  It’s Magic.  It is what gives life to our fingers as we type away on the computer keyboard.  Funny thing is, we are  all performing Magic everyday, and not even aware of  it.  

Nowadays, when I do readings I see everyone I talk to as the Magic.  No matter what the problem is that they walk in the door with, they have the answer inside of them to remedy it.  Whether it requires me to talk to their ancestors, give them a psychic tarot reading, or whip up a Magic herbal power pouch for them, they already carry the solution inside of them, and I know that they just need a little help remembering.  

It’s a long journey to incarnate here onto earth.  Let’s all take a moment each day to show how grateful we are for this wonderful planet we live on and to thank ourselves for finally owning the Magic that lives within each of us!
