Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit..
Promise Yourself
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness concerning all acts of initiative and creation.
Dust if you must, but wouldn’t it be better to paint a picture, or write a letter, bake a cake, or plant a seed.
Ponder the difference between want and need.
Dust if you must, but there is not much time, with rivers to swim and mountains to climb! Music to hear, and books to read friends to cherish and life to lead.
Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare and serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies, needed to combat the illness.

A man was walking through a forest pondering life. He walked, pondered, walked, and pondered. He felt very close to nature and even close to God. He felt so close to God that he felt if he spoke God would listen.
During that big blizzard on the High Plains last winter, a couple shy guys died at the same time and went to meet Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates.
St. Peter said, “I’d like to get you guys in now, but we’ve had a virus problem and all our information systems are down. You’ll have to go back to Earth for about a week, but you can’t go back as humans. What’ll it be?”
The following three-word phrases can enrich every relationship. Read them; contemplate on them; and use them. They are very powerful.
I’ll Be There
If you have ever had to call a friend in
the middle of the night, to take a sick child to hospital, or when
your car has broken down some miles from home, you will know how good
it feels to hear the phrase “ I’ll be there. “ Being there for another
person is the greatest gift we can give. When we’re truly present for
other people, important things happen to them & us. We are renewed
in love and friendship. We are restored emotionally and spiritually.
Being there is at the very core of civility.
Thoughts cloud my head
As I start to dream
Of ways of

Other than how I seem
The young man was at the end of his rope.
Seeing no way out, he dropped to his knees in prayer.
“Lord, I can’t go on,” he said. “I have too heavy a cross to bear.”
The Lord replied, “My son, if you can’t bear it’s weight, just place your cross inside this room. Then open another door and pick any cross you wish.”
The good you find in others, is in you too.
The faults you
find in others, are your faults as well.
After all, to recognize
something you must know it.
While all about the world are questioning everyone’s religious history and beliefs, we really find comfort in knowing where God is!

to the lunar surface. Along with several NASA trucks and
vehicles used for the training session, there were two men
wearing complete Lunar spacesuits.
Some time ago a mother punished her 5 year old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and she became even more upset when the child pasted the gold paper so as to decorate a box like a gift.
