GIVING UP
VICTIMHOOD
Just a reminder—we are more than we seem to be. We are more creative, intelligent, intuitive, blessed, and magnificent than it sometimes appears.
We were created out of perfect Love and designed in the likeness of Infinite Intelligence—we are simply not lesser beings. At the very core we are love and this earth experience is the perfect place to realize it. In a world of contrast—love, hate; honesty, deceitfulness; fear, faith; abundance, lack; truth, lies, we can choose how we wish to be.
The Natural Beauty
in Winter
We have been provided with many wonders in nature. Look around and find one that appeals to you. Give it your blessing.
Try some of the following:
• Look up in the sky are there any clouds?
Natural Ways to Treat Depression
Depression has become one of the prevalent problems in the world today
and is becoming a major killer as well. 15% of depressed people will
commit suicide. Depressive disorders affect approximately 9.5% of the
U.S. population age 18 and older.
Emergency or False Alarm?
Have you ever felt so awful that
you thought about seeking
emergency treatment, or became worried that
an unspeakably, serious
event was about to occur? Have you ever
experienced an uncomfortable
wheezing or tightness in your chest,
been nauseous for no reason, had a
headache that just wouldn’t quit,
heard ringing in your ears, suffered
frequent sore throats, unusual
rashes, hives, or swelling? Do you know
what caused these
symptoms? .
Are You Eating Healthy?
No one likes to
be told what,
when, or how to eat. When I ask patients to fill
out a food diary,
which means writing down absolutely everything they
put in their mouth
for a week, my popularity rating goes down -
albeit temporarily. They
often scowl, and ask what I mean by
everything. The reason for doing
this is because I want to take
a look at their regular intake of food,
as well things that fall into
a category that should actually be
considered recreational
substances. This category includes things that
even the most
avid junk food eater wouldn’t consider a meal, yet they
are often
consumed on a daily basis. After doing this, people are
usually
surprised at how little real food they eat. Another question I
ask is if they know why they are eating. This may seem like an
odd
question, but it is actually very important. Many people
eat by the
clock, not by the body saying it’s time. .
The Treasures of Adversity
You and I have been witnessing one of the most
challenging periods
that our country and our world has known in our
life time. I’m sure
this is nothing new to you. We’ve
been reading and hearing about the
present financial crisis for quite
some time now. In the numerous
times I’ve tuned into the news
on radio or TV, I’ve been aware of the
output of fear that underlies
so many broadcasts. And it’s natural to
be emotionally
triggered by the state of affairs, especially in the
Metro Detroit
area, which has been hit particularly hard. Even if
you’re not
one of the ones who’s been laid off or lost a job, or has
felt
butterflies at bill time each month, we all know someone who
has.
It would be all but impossible not to be affected by our
economy right
now, and to stay consistently positive in spite of what
we are
experiencing.
The Magic and Power of Belief
Napoleon Hill once said: “what
the mind can conceive and believe,
the body can achieve”. Personal
experience has shown that this is not
just an expression! The
connection or link with thoughts in your mind
to every single cell
within your body is truly capable of producing
miraculous effects.
Consider for a moment, the placebo effect, which is
a measurable
improvement in one’s physical or emotional health that
cannot be
attributed to medical treatment because the patient only
received a
“sugar pill” or some other inert (innocuous) form of
treatment. In
other words, the patients get better, even though the
treatment does
absolutely nothing! On average, the placebo effect alone
will cure or
provide measurable relief in 30% to 40% of all patients
being treated
regardless of what type of problem is being treated.
Keeping the “Happy” in the Holidays
With the season of peace and joy upon us,
we busy ourselves with
holiday activities such as shopping, cooking,
decorating and
socializing. While it is an enjoyable time
of year for many, extra
demands are made of our time, energy, and
financial resources which can
leave us feeling depleted. When we
pause to restore balance to our
body, mind, and spirit, we are able
to give abundantly to others
without resentment. The following are
suggestions to help you feel your
best during this holiday
season..
The Temple Within
As we watch the
falling leaves all around us, we feel winter upon us.
We see in our
outside world, death and decline. This mimics our inner
world of
saying goodbye to the old and outmoded areas of our life that
no
longer serve us. Have you noticed that during this time of year,
people’s moods seem to be more somber? We are all instinctively
preparing to pull our energies inward to find our “inner flame”, or
“The Temple Within”. Just like nature, we intuitively know deep inside
on a spiritual level, that this is what’s needed for our own growth
and
renewal..
Channeling Spirits From Beyond: A Gift of Healing from Spirit
Have you ever wondered how individuals we call mediums bring spirit in and through them to deliver messages? Have you ever thought, this is a hoax, how can this really happen?
Spiritualists have affirmed that after the death of our physical body, our spiritual body continues on into the next dimension..
The Mysteries of Water
1. Internationally renowned Japanese scientist Dr. Masaru Emoto discovered that molecules of water are affected by our thoughts, words, and feelings.
Since humans and the earth are composed mostly of water, his message is one of personal health, global environmental renewal, and a practical plan for peace that starts with each one of us.

MEDITATING AT WORK: Who knew?
Those
who meditate have a distinct advantage over those who don’t.
Individuals who meditate at work enjoy greater productivity and
clarity. They experience better concentration, stronger
intuition, and
more physical vitality. There is a reduction in
stress, tension,
fatigue, and anxiety.
Getting Your Beauty Sleep
Some people look forward to
that wonderful, dreamy state,
called sleep, at the end of a
day. Perhaps an escape from stress
filled lives, it provides
the solace needed to get up and do it all
over again the next
morning. Although they may have trouble falling
asleep, or
staying asleep, sleep is something very desirable. Other
people
don’t even like the idea of sleep, and are convinced that it is
a
waste of time. You probably know people like this. They
put off
sleep, waiting until they are almost ready to fall over
before
intentionally placing their body in a horizontal
position. Don’t they
know that they need beauty sleep?
